GAME OVERVIEW
Picture this: you and your crew will be tasked with crafting a jaw-dropping Lego creation invention AND whipping up a killer pitch to sell it.
It’s like Shark Tank meets an epic block party, and trust me, it’s as awesome as it sounds.
Once you’re in the zone building your brick masterpiece, get those brains buzzing because you’ll need to come up with a pitch that knocks everyone’s socks off. But here’s where things get spicy – after all teams have presented their mind-blowing creations and pitches, the group gets to cast their votes for the most impressive combo. It’s an adrenaline-pumping mix of strategy, teamwork, and pure creative genius.
HOW IT WORKS
Icebreaker:
We kick off The Lego Pitch by breaking the ice to get your crew primed for genius creation!
Recreation:
To prepare for the main task of creating a Lego invention from scratch, we start with a simple game of re-creation.
Your team could be asked to make a Dolphin, Clock or Banana! Now that we’ve covered the basics it’s time to serve the main course.
The Problem:
Each team is presented with a problem, their invention must address and solve that problem. It could be as simple as “Farmer Alex’s Potatoes are never ROUND enough” or as complex as “HELP! Grandma’s all over Australia are having trouble connecting with their Grandsons”. Be prepared to be amazed by what your team creates.
The Pitch:
The next stage is planning out an incredible pitch. Teams are given approx. 30 minutes to brainstorm and collaborate on their pitch with helpful structuring provided by our world-class Banana Life Facilitators.
Presentations:
Each team pitches their invention to the panel. To close out your event we hold an awards ceremony and present our winning team with medals!
You will work with your event producer on the criteria so it aligns with the objectives of your event or conference.
However, all pitches must include the following:
We provide Lego kits for each team, criteria sheets for ‘The Problem’ and a slick voting system for the presentations!
We also provide medals for the winning team and a novelty prize for the team that sits rock bottom…
This is a unique activity that enables teams to be creative, and problem-solve, but also work to strict deadlines.
Excellent time management is critical to your success.
This activity is perfect to complement an off-site strategy day, client networking event, or sales kick-off.
This is optional, but is a popular element to include in The Lego Pitch.
Teams will always get to vote on other teams presentations, but it’s up to you if you’d like to include a few local leaders in the judging process.
We provide the criteria to mark by all you have to do is use that winning judgment to help decide the winning team.
Our helpful Banana Life Host will also act as judge so don’t worry it won’t all fall on you!
