Cancellations
Cancellation by Banana Life Pty Ltd
We reserve the right to cancel any program or activity due to dangerous conditions or circumstances. If a program or activity must be cancelled under these conditions 100% of the deposit will be refunded unless an agreement of postponement can be arranged by both parties (preferable).
Rescheduling – In-Person Programs
Rescheduling the in-person program to another available date agreeable to all parties (including third parties) will incur a fee. All changes must be made in writing to your Sales Agent.
Banana Life Pty Ltd will advise the client(s) of any additional and external terms (if applicable) associated with the re-organisation of the program(s) and third parties.
Our pricing is seasonal and is subject to adjustment based on availability and lead time. If rescheduling for a period where pricing is higher, an additional program fee may apply.
Late Payment
Late payments may be recovered on behalf of Banana Life Pty Ltd by an external third party. All fees associated with recovering the invoice amount will be billable to the client, by contracted third parties.
Participant Numbers (“Guaranteed Number”)
The client is required to confirm the final numbers participating in the program no less than four weeks before the date of their confirmed program. This is the client’s “guaranteed number”.
If the pricing has been quoted as a per-person rate, pricing related to the program will be calculated based on whichever is the greater number; the number of people that attend the program or the guaranteed number.
Duty of Care
Banana Life Pty Ltd employs a high degree of skill and professionalism to ensure adequate standards of safety and welfare for participants are met. Neither Banana Life Pty Ltd nor the parties of Banana Life Pty Ltd can accept liability for circumstances where damage(s) could not have been avoided even when the exercise of reasonable care occurred on the part of Banana Life Pty Ltd.
Weather
If, at the sole discretion of the Directors and/or their delegate(s) of Banana Life Pty Ltd, the weather will prevent the safe conduct of the program, it may be amended, curtailed or postponed to a later date mutually convenient to all parties. Banana Life will endeavour to provide an alternative program where possible (venue restrictions may apply). An indoor alternative facility may be required and if so, any costs incurred will be payable by the client.
Postponement due to weather conditions at the discretion of the client will be treated as a cancellation.
Insurance
Banana Life operates all programs with $20M Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance. Details of this are available upon request.
Participant Requirements
Clothing and footwear should be comfortable and casual, enough not to cause concern if it becomes damaged or dirty.
It is preferable that delegates do not bring valuables and limit jewellery worn on a program. Banana Life Pty Ltd will not be liable for loss or damage to any goods, equipment, money or property owned by or in the possession of a participant during a program. It is the responsibility of the client to inform all participants of the above.
Banana Life Pty Ltd requires the participating organisation to inform them (Banana Life Pty Ltd) of any health-related conditions of their attending delegates.
It is recommended that alcohol consumption within 12 hours of a program be in moderation. If, at the sole discretion of Banana Life Pty Ltd, a delegate(s) is deemed to prevent the safe running conduct of a program, action in line with safety considerations can be taken.

Participant Numbers
Remote Team Building is charged per event or game, with predetermined minimum and maximum participant limitations.
Events or games that exceed this predetermined limit will incur an additional fee for each additional participant, charged at 10% of the quoted event price.
Minimum participant numbers are needed to be filled in order to have a successful event or game. Events or games that do not meet the minimum participant numbers to continue the event will be treated as a cancellation.
Games with lower than expected participant numbers will continue as scheduled, provided they meet the minimum requirement.
Refunds and Credits
We understand it can be difficult to accurately assess capacity needs for virtual events. However, we unfortunately are not able to offer refunds or credits on rooms or hosts that were not taken advantage of.
There are no refunds in the case of lower than expected turnout.
Technical Issues and Support
Our remote and virtual team building activities are designed to be played on most computers. Having the suitable technical requirements and setup, however, is the responsibility of the participants.
Banana Life will provide participant instructions, FAQ/Troubleshooting, and a link to test the participants individual video, microphone and audio setup prior to your game.
